Robyn Shutak, CEP

Equity Advisory Services Practice Leader | Computershare

Robyn Shutak is a practice leader for Computershare’s U.S. Plan Managers business and has more than 15 years of comprehensive experience with employee equity programs. In her current role, Robyn helps increase the company’s brand awareness in the U.S., cultivate new and existing relationships through content development and additional services, and as a subject matter expert, helps support Computershare’s products, events, and initiatives.

Prior to joining Computershare, Robyn worked as a Senior Director at the Global Equity Organization (GEO) where she was instrumental in transforming their membership services, was the Education Director for the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP) and has held positions at various corporate issuer companies in the San Diego area.

Robyn is a Certified Equity Professional (CEP). She has served on the Certification Counsel of the CEP Institute and the Curriculum Committee and has been regularly recognized by the CEP Institute with Volunteer Excellence awards. Robyn is a frequent speaker on equity compensation topics and is a co-author of the book, “If I’d Only Known That,” published in 2011 by the NCEO. She served as the Programming Director for the San Diego Chapter of the NASPP for more than seven years.

She holds a BA in English from San Diego State University and a Paralegal Certificate (with honors) from the ABA Paralegal Program at the University of San Diego.

James Kelley

Marketing Director | Computershare

Throughout his career, James has had a passion for education. In each of his career roles, his primary focus has been on identifying game-changing opportunities for whatever industry he is in, educating clients and prospects on those opportunities, and then showing how his company can partner with them to make the most of such opportunities.

James is currently the marketing director for the employee equity plans business at Computershare. He is responsible for developing and executing the strategy to communicate the unique value of Computershare’s offerings in the plans business to both current clients and new prospects. He has become a big fan of talking about employee stock purchase plans (game changer!) and now, how fractional shares (another game changer!) can make your equity plans work even better for you.

Prior to Computershare, James has held marketing positions at a number of different companies, including TV Guide Magazine, Advertising Age, and McGraw-Hill. He received his Masters in Publishing from Pace University and holds a BA in English and History from Dickinson College.
