WorldatWork Announces Role Changes and Addition to its Society Board

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (January 15, 2019) -- WorldatWork announces changes and an addition to its Society of Certified Professionals Board of Directors. The WorldatWork Society of Certified Professionals Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing the advancement of WorldatWork's professional strategy and serves as the voice of the total rewards profession by 1) providing direction and counsel regarding critical knowledge and competencies of the total rewards profession; 2) advancing the state of the profession and its members; 3) promoting ongoing standards of competency and conduct within the profession; and 4) ensuring that certification programs remain rigorous, relevant, current and complete. 

The following changes and addition are effective immediately:

  • Brit Wittman, CCP, CECP, GM of executive compensation at Chevron​, continues to serve on the board, moving into the chair position. He has served on the board since 2005. 
  • Susan Brown, GRP, senior director of compensation at Siemens Corp​., continues to serve on the board, moving into an officer position as secretary. She has served on the board since 2013.
  • Dr. Mark Bussin, CCP, GRP, chairperson of 21​st​ Century Pay Solutions Group, professor at the University of Johannesburg, and past president and executive committee member of the South African Reward Association (SARA) ​joins as a board member. Dr. Bussin has served as an accredited faculty member for WorldatWork for several years.
